Overview
The Amazon Research and Conservation volunteer project in Peru aims to protect the rainforest from any further destruction due to activities like illegal logging and mining. Through research efforts, the project aims to create a conservation corridor for wildlife. This is to try and secure the survival of the Amazon and its species.

Location
This rainforest conservation project is situated in Las Piedras, within Tampotata. It is one of the most bio-diverse areas of the Amazon rainforest in Peru. It is only reachable by boat and the camp is surrounded by forest, as well as the Las Piedras watershed and all the wildlife that inhabit it.
