Apply for the position of Livelihoods Program Manager
The Productive Agriculture Community-based Empowerment II (PACE II) project is a 3-year program that will work in 60 villages in northern Chin, Myanmar. The Livelihoods Project Manager will work to support PACE II project partner(s) to implement PACE II activities and build their capacity. The PACE II Project is designed to support remote Chin villages in the areas of food security and nutrition. PACE II will do this by working with households and community groups to increase farm net production, increase community capacity to mitigate and adapt to shocks and stresses, and help households improve nutritional practices.
The PACE II project manager will provide technical, planning, and implementation support to the officer and field agents to enhance the effectiveness of activities; will streamline data collection and entry and produce timely and quality narrative reports for donors; provide training, oversight, guidance, support and feedback to partners to implement appropriate field activities; and assist with the development of detailed annual and quarterly operational budgets and provide first-level review and comment on partners' quarterly and annual budgets.
Candidates with Master's degree in field related to Agriculture Sciences, at least 3 years' experience in program management and rural development and a demonstrated ability in participatory assessment, planning, budgeting, MEAL, and financial and project management as well as willingness to live and work in a remote area are encouraged to apply.
