The forestry specialist will bring technical, methodological support and monitoring to improve capacity of regional partners to implement program and conservation strategies for mitigation to climate change, including forest restoration programs.
Some main responsibilities of this vacancy are, among others:
- Design and implement strategic methods and approaches for the sustainable management of forest resources and restoration;
- Supervise and monitor the local implementation of the various tools related to mitigation to climate change and sustainable management of forest resources and ecosystem services;
- Provide technical support to partners on the capacity of intervention for the sustainable management of the COFAV landscape.
