Kent Wildlife Trust is now inviting applications for the assistant conservation officer position. The candidate will work closely with the Conservation Evidence Ecologist and Ecology Group Volunteers to gather ecological data, and ensure it is digitised, stored, analysed and reported appropriately following established protocols.

The candidate's role includes, among others:

  • Play a key part in ensuring that Kent Wildlife Trust can assess the quality of the habitats manage;
  • Assess the effect of habitat management work on the biodiversity;
  • Ensure that data collected across reserves and Local Wildlife Sites are recorded, collected and managed correctly.
