The Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology, Colorado State University, is seeking an Assistant Professor in Spatial Ecology. The position is for a spatial/landscape ecologist, potentially focusing on answering large-scale ecological questions in terrestrial and/or aquatic ecosystems involving fish and wildlife with utility for conservation and management of natural resources.

Key responsibilities are, among others:

  • Establish an internationally recognized program of externally funded research and scholarly that addresses both applied and theoretical aspects of spatial ecology;
  • Teach courses which will focus on spatial/landscape ecology;
  • Generate support for graduate students and involvement of undergraduate students.
