Bayreuth International Summer School – Energy & Climate

The Bayreuth International Summer School is jointly hosted by the International Office of the University of Bayreuth and the Campus Academy, the university’s institute for lifelong learning and corporate education. The programme provides an intercultural and dynamic setting reflecting UBT´s focus areas in research. It consists of several individual courses, each with interdisciplinary an approach. The participants have the opportunity to participate in a rich programme that consists of theoretical seminars and discussions as well as practical elements such as lab courses and workshops. Scholars and students from around the globe enrich the classrooms and labs with their own perspectives on the material.
The Summer School will address technical, social and political issues raised by renewable energy (solar, wind, hydropower and bioenergy).
During both weeks renowned experts from various countries around the world will offer rich insights into current issues of the globally important topic of Energy and Climate Change.
