Calling all journalists based in Southern Africa
The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and the Thomson Reuters Foundation seek participants for a four-day workshop on reporting land rights in Johannesburg, South Africa (30 July – 2 August 2018). Journalists with outstanding story ideas on property rights will receive training, editorial support and limited funding to help them realize their stories. The program will cover airfare, lodging, and subsistence for journalists from Southern African countries. Eligibility extends to journalists working for domestic media (print, radio, TV, online) anywhere in Southern Africa. Applicants must be fluent in English.
