GIZ International Services is shortlisted for the EU-funded project: “Technical Assistance in the Environmental and Climate Change Legislation” in Ukraine. The overall objective of the project will be to effectively raise Ukrainian public authorities' capacities at local and regional level in designing and implementing key reforms stemming 'from the Association Agreement and DCFTA, including capacity to carry out legal approximation process with the EU.
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in Environmental studies, Biology, Geography, Chemistry or a relevant, directly related discipline. Diploma could be replaced by 5 years of relevant experience;
- At least 10 and preferably 15 years of experience in the fields of environment, biology, geography, agriculture or forestry, or renewable energy;
- At least 5 and preferably 10 years of experience with climate change or energy efficiency policies.
- At least 3 and preferably 6 years of experience in development of national or regional climate change strategies;
- At least 2 and preferably 5 assignments in development of national and/or regional climate adaptation plans.
