We work in four key areas of development: Governance Reforms, Pro-Poor Policy Reforms, Conflict Prevention and Recovery, and Environment Management, with the overarching aim of reducing poverty in Indonesia. Besides the four priority areas, UNDP Indonesia is also engaged in a variety of crosscutting initiatives focused on HIV/AIDS, gender equality, and information and technology for development.
The Climate Change Mitigation Specialist will undertake the following
- Define enhanced NDC mitigation implementation policy and measures;
- Hold consultation with related ministries/agencies on the current implementation, progress and challenges;
- Develop a report/recommendation on the potential mitigation in ocean-based sector;
- Report on preparation enhanced NDC implementation policy and measures;
- Report stocktaking on GHG mitigation potential in ocean-based sector;
- Coordination between the UNDP and Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) as well as other relevant ministries.
