Climate Communications Intern - Alliances for Climate Action

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a climate communications intern to support the Alliances for Climate Action initiative, under the WWF-US’ Climate team. The Alliances for Climate Action (ACA) is a global network of domestic multi-sector alliances committed to driving climate action and supporting the delivery and enhancement of their countries’ climate goals. ACA connects cities, states, the private sector, investors, universities and civil society at the domestic level so that they can work with each other and with their national governments to accelerate the transition to a just net zero future.

Under the supervision of the Senior Program Officer, US and International Climate Cooperation, the intern will largely support the programmatic communication needs for the ACA Global Coordination team. The intern will work closely with the ACA Global Coordination team to refine and implement the 2020-2021 communications plan for the initiative. The communications intern will draft content for the ACA website and facilitate content-based upgrades to the current site.
