The project will capacitate AEPC, provincial and local governments, as well as the private sector to promote and scale up the following 3 technologies based on Photovoltaic (PV): (1) Grid-integrated PV rooftop for companies and industries, (2) off-grid PV-irrigation pumps for farmers, and (3) PV mini-grids for rural areas without access to the national grid.
Requirements:
- University degree in engineering, economics, renewable energy, natural sciences, or other relevant subjects
- Demonstrated work experience in solar technologies, at best in regard to solar mini-grids, PV roof-top, and PV irrigation pumps
- Work experience in system design for the 3 mentioned solar technologies and with grid-integration of solar mini-grids is an additional asset
- Work experience in developing and implementing capacity building measures (e.g. trainings) for the deployment of renewable energy, at best the 3 mentioned solar technologies
- Work experience in private sector promotion and improvements of business models, at best for the 3 mentioned solar technologies
