Description
This course focuses on the basics of implementing the REDD+ activities at the national or sub-national level. REDD+ stands for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation and Conserving and Enhancing Forest Carbon Stocks.
Once this course is completed, participants will be able to:
- Identify and describe steps involved to design and implement REDD+ activities;
- Identify and describe the guidelines for creating REDD+ programs;
- Identify and describe the many purposes and practices of standards;
- Identify and describe the functions and limitations of The Climate, Community, and Biodiversity Standard (CCBS).
