Environmental Analysis - Specialist

Leidos invites applications for the position of Environmental Analysis - Specialist, to be responsible for the implementation of National Science Foundation (NSF) environmental protection programs under the regulatory framework of the U.S. Antarctic Conservation Act and the Protocol on Environmental Protection to the Antarctic Treaty.  The incumbent shall assist or lead in the preparation of documentation for assessing environmental impact (EIA); mitigating environmental impacts; environmental policy development and implementation; proposal reviews; environmental permitting; land use planning and habitat conservation; environmental monitoring programs, such as audits, inspections, water quality analysis, and/or soil sampling analysis;  technical reports based on the interpretation of data, observations, and current regulations regarding inspection findings and recommendations for corrective action.
