Description
The Environmental Restoration Specialist will be a member of the Environmental Restoration Group, supporting ongoing soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations at NASA Ames Research Center. Duties include the collection of soil, groundwater and indoor / outdoor air samples; conducting environmental site inspections; assisting with the operation, maintenance, monitoring and sampling of existing groundwater treatment systems and monitoring / extraction well networks; and supporting a variety of ongoing field investigation and remediation efforts.
Applicant must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.
