Forest and Climate Research Analyst

World Resources Institute (WRI) Indonesia is seeking a full-time Research Analyst with excellent analytical, writing, as well as communication skills to conduct various research and outreach activities under its Climate and Forests program. This person reports directly to WRI Indonesia's Climate and Forests Manager and may regularly work with associates at WRI's global office to support activities to better monitor and enforce sustainable forest management in Indonesia, as well as contribute to the implementation of Indonesia's climate commitments as part of the Paris Agreement.
This position requires a quick-learning, organized generalist with sharp research and analytical skills who is able to multitask to complete various timely assignments. The research analyst will work with WRI Indonesia's small but effective team to cover a number of natural resources-related issues, with a particular focus on forests and climate change. Communication skills will also be essential as part of outreach activities to promote WRI's data, analyses, and online mapping platforms.
