Overview

The aim of this programme is to help to conserve a part of the Ecuadorian Cloud Forest by participating in tree planting, trail work, research activities, sustainable living and food production as well as community projects and Capuchin Monkey research.

Highlights

Volunteers can take part in Cloud Forest Conservation & Sustainable Food Production and Building and we also offer a short-term Volunteer Experience Package for Families, and a Travelling, Volunteering, Learning (TVL) programme for large groups, and a Long-Term Capuchin Monkey research project. Independent research projects are also available for students.

Location

La Hesperia is located in the cloud forest of Pichincha province, 90 kilometers from Quito (the capital of Ecuador) and is located up the hill from the small community of La Esperie.
