Description
The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction calls to increase awareness on disaster risk reduction, resilience and the implementation of policies to prevent new risks. The sharing of resources, knowledge and mutual learning approaches are important ingredients of a resilient community.
The international symposium on “Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development” will be from 7 -8 March, 2019 and is scheduled to be held at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
Key topics will be on, among others:

- Sustainable Development and Disaster Risk;
- Disaster Risk Science and Engineering;
