International training program on Production of Slow-, Controlled-Release, and Stabilized Fertilizers

Since 2001, the International Fertilizer Development Center IFDC and the International Fertilizer Association IFA have been conducting biennial training programs to share knowledge and exchange information with representatives of the fertilizer industry regarding different production technologies and products. This year, IFDC and IFA are shifting the focus of the training to feature Slow-, Controlled-Release, and Stabilized Fertilizers to attract the interest of producers seeking to diversify their fertilizer product range.

The 2019 international training on Production of Slow-, Controlled Release, and Stabilized Fertilizers will take place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, during June 24-26, attracting participants from the fertilizer industry and stakeholders from around the world.

The program will provide basic knowledge on the production of these fertilizers and on their use as an effective means of increasing crop productivity.
The event will be held at the InterContinental® Frankfurt.
