Internship Opportunity at the UNFCCC in Bonn!

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is the focus of the political process to address Climate Change. The Convention secretariat supports the Convention and its Kyoto Protocol through a range of activities, including substantive and organizational support to meetings of the Parties. The Information and Communication Technology programme (ICT) is the central service provider for all IT infrastructure and user support services, as well as for information systems development, maintenance and application support within the UNFCCC.
You will be working in the governance sub-programme which is responsible for defining and optimizing all aspects of ICT governance in the ICT programme. The ICT governance includes quality management, portfolio, programme, project and service governance, as well as enterprise architecture and information security. Under the overall supervision of the director of ICT and the direct supervision of the information systems officer and with some leeway permitted for the exercise of independent judgment, the intern will be providing support for the testing and evaluation of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions for UNFCCC internal and external stakeholders.
