M.Sc. International Horticultural Science
The second-cycle degree in International Horticultural Science (IMaHS) is a 2-year post-graduate programme offered by the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Bologna and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Free University of Bozen. At the end of the studies the international programme releases a joint degree recognized by both institutions.
The programme at the University of Bologna aims to prepare future Agriculture technicians with high skills and capable of work in the horticultural sector in a global and international context. Students will experience multidisciplinary training and research-led teaching in subjects covering the main aspects of horticultural production and the supply chain with particular attention to the environmental sustainability and social and economic protection (People-Planet Profit).
The International Horticultural Science (IMaHS) programme at the University of Bologna is addressed to graduates in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science and Biotechnologies and other subjects related to the study area in Life Sciences. In addition, being entirely taught and assessed in English, prospective students are required to possess an intermediate level competence in English.
