The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is implementing the project "Strengthening livelihood recovery of COVID-19 most affected rural communities in Cambodia" funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The project aims to promote inclusive and transformative COVID-19 economic recovery, ensuring food and nutrition security of COVID-19 most affected vulnerable households and a shift towards nutrition-sensitive, climate-resilient agriculture and food safety in selected targeted areas, firmly grounded in gender equality and women's rights.

Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative in Cambodia, The National Poultry Extension Specialist reports directly to the Head of Operations and technical oversight of lead technical officer in the FAO regional office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP). He/she will work in coordination with the project's National Project Coordinator, relevant FAO colleagues, government counterparts, and other stakeholders. The National Poultry Extension Specialist will work in close collaboration with the General Department of Animal Health and Production (GDAHP), Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (PDAFF), and project partner to provide training, technical advice, and supports in response to the priority needs of targeted beneficiaries specifically on poultry production, poultry health, and management.
