Description
- Cooperative yet self-responsible work as member of the GCCI team on the development of the first subindices during the initial phase 2020-2021 (especially on GHG Emissions Monitoring Austria, Global Climate Warming Monitoring, Extreme Weather Increase Monitoring; all incl. Pathways to 2050)
- Conception and implementation of the index designs as well as the analysis methodologies and algorithms for computing the first subindices in collaboration with the GCCI project leader and senior experts in the team, in particular from the Field of Excellence Climate Change Graz
- Data acquisition and preparation of the input data sets for the subindices and setup of the GCCI data analysis and visualization workflows from input data backend to web/app-portal frontend
- Contribution to and as possible lead authorship of publications of GCCI results in professional journals and to the dissemination in the context of knowledge transfer and public relations
- Contribution to bringing GCCI knowledge also into university teaching and further education
- Expert co-representation of the GCCI project as part of shaping the profile of the University within the area climate change and sustainability, according to functions assigned by the project leader
