Role Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of Project Coordinator-DRSLPII Project, the Project Officer-DRSLPII Project is responsible for planning and timely implementation of DRSLP-II project activities through local implementing partners and service providers to empower target beneficiaries and the private/public sectors to improve better livestock health management. S/he will be closely working with the project team for reporting, networking and documentation of DRSLP-II project activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Community Development, Social policy, Development Studies, Environment, and Agro-Vet from recognized University or any other related field.
- Minimum of at least 3 years work experience in the INGO environment, including exposure to field operations in both emergency and development programs
- Conceptual understanding and practical experience of livestock health management
- Sound knowledge on project management, environment, Veterinary, and Agriculture
