Resilience Planner Intern wanted ASAP!

Dewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 50 locations and 2,000 professionals nationwide.The company seeks a Resilience Planner Intern based in Fairfax, USA supporting the Resilience Solutions (RS) Branch with building capabilities, winning and executing projects related to Community Resilience and other related service lines. This position will focus on flood risk hazard mitigation, community outreach and engagement, mitigation planning, research, developing reports, presentations and/or decision support applications to increase resilience. 

Required Skills & Required Experience:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Planning, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• Sets and meets deadlines, relates effectively within diverse work group
• Performs an expanded array of tasks assigned by higher level staff, designed to broaden experience.
• Responsibilities may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule, overtime.
• GIS Analysis
• Ability to get along with coworkers and superiors.
• Work is typically performed within the office although field/site visits are occasionally required.
