The Land Matrix is an independent global land monitoring initiative that promotes transparency and accountability in decisions over land and investments. It does so by collecting and visualising information about large-scale land acquisitions (LSLAs) and facilitating an open development community of citizens, researchers, policy-makers, and technology specialists. Regional Focal Points (RFPs) in four different regions around the globe are responsible for data collection and verification activities.
In the next phase of the Land Matrix initiative, the Africa RFP will be exploring new data sourcing strategies and strengthening the data in specific African countries where data is generally unavailable or inaccessible by other means. As such, we are looking for a land-based organisation in Ghana to assist us with data collection and verification on LSLAs within the country.
The Land Matrix Initiative is an online open access platform about large-scale land acquisitions in low- and middle-income countries. Land Matrix seeks a land-based organisation in Ghana to assist with data collection and verification on large-scale land acquisitions. The maximum amount financed is US$ 6,300.
