Adelphi is an independent think tank and leading international public policy consultancy on climate, environment, and development. Their office in Berlin is seeking a dynamic and constructive Research Analyst to support the V-LED project starting in June 2019.
The Vertical Integration and Learning for Low-emission Development in Africa and Southeast Asia (V-LED) project is a six-year (2015–2020) project funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) as part of its International Climate Change Initiative (IKI). Implemented in Kenya, South Africa, the Philippines, Vietnam and Colombia, the project aims to strengthen multi-level policy coordination for local climate action and facilitate exchange between local governments.
Working on the V-LED project at Adelphi you will support effective multi-level climate governance for local action. You will work directly with the Adelphi team in supporting colleagues and our international partners foster local capacities for transformative action and improve coordination between governing levels. You will organize and analyze data concerning climate governance mechanisms in practice, support the writing of briefs and presentations, and create communications content of various mediums. You will gain experience working as part of an international team on a project funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)..
