GUIDING QUESTIONS

  1. What opportunities exist to establish partnerships with various types of organizations (including, non-governmental organizations, private sector, Indigenous groups and academia) to undertake work in ODA-eligible countries in order to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls as part of advancing climate change adaptation and mitigation objectives?
  2. What are the key entry points for gender equality initiatives in the area of resource management, agricultural production and access to markets at community, regional and national levels?
  3. Are there gender-transformative climate action partnerships that would be most suitable for the use of blended finance (e.g. contributions, including repayable, as well as concessional loans)?
  4. To pursue and develop these opportunities, what kind of supports (e.g. tools, structures, facilitation, etc.) might be required from a Climate Partnership initiative funded by the Government of Canada?

CROSSCUTTING QUESTIONS
