Global Challenges Forum on Saturday 20 March, will bring in experts on law, development, politics, and gender, to address these ever-changing issues, and to look at how we can positively make an impact. Director of SOAS, Professor Adam Habib, a public intellectual and activist, will present the forum’s opening lecture on addressing inequality. Other presenters include Esther Stanford-Xosei from Extinction Rebellion, a range of SOAS academics, students and alumni.
From sustainability to inequality, COVID-19 to climate change, today’s challenges are truly global. At SOAS, our regional expertise and commitment to social justice mean we’re uniquely placed to address these problems- and find new solutions. Our online Forum will see experts on law, development, politics, and gender come together to discuss and debate these ever-changing challenges, and look at how we can positively make an impact.
