Knowledge Hub Partners

Partnerships are at the heart of the UNCCD Knowledge Hub concept. To date, the following organizations have been involved in the project: The World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies (WOCAT), International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (FAO AGRIS), Technologies and Practices for small Agricultural Producers (FAO TECA), International Soil Reference and Information Centre (ISRIC), Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA Jornada).

The Knowledge Hub project relies on content partnerships to expand the depth and reach of knowledge on topics and issues such as desertification, land degradation and drought (DLDD), sustainable land management (SLM) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through the Knowledge Hub, partners will be able to increase their visibility and expand the dissemination of their knowledge to stakeholders. The goal of the Knowledge Hub is to further enhance a knowledge-driven exchange between practitioners, decision-makers and scientists in order to encourage sustainable development in areas affected by land degradation.

The development of the knowledge hub is supported by:

  • European Commission (EC)
  • Government of the Republic of Korea (Changwon Initiative)
  • Government of Switzerland
