Capacity Building Marketplace (CBM) is pleased to announce the official launching of the 2018 Photo Competition. You are invited to submit, using this form, your best captures related to the theme of the contest,

“Have you been affected by land degradation? Show us how!”

Winners will receive:

El Mercado de Creación de Capacidades (CBM por sus siglas en inglés) tiene el placer de anunciar el inicio oficial del Concurso de Fotografía 2018. A través de este formulario, usted está invitado a enviar sus mejores fotografías relacionadas con la temática del concurso.

Règles

Le concours photo du Capacity Building Marketplace (CBM) de la Convention des Nations Unies pour la lutte contre la désertification (UNCCD en anglais) vise à montrer au monde des images dans de la lutte contre la désertification, la dégradation des terres et la sécheresse. Ce concours vise à promouvoir votre créativité et à vous donner l'occasion de partager vos idées et expériences dans ce domaine.

Out of all submissions during the last weeks, the Capacity Building Marketplace (CBM) Team is more than pleased and excited to announce the 20 pre-selected photos which are under consideration for the final stage of our 2018 Photo Competition.

From those 20 short-listed photos, each voter can choose up to 5 favorite pictures! Every vote has the same value and is equal to one point.

On 11th of October 2018, students from Bonn University, pursuing the Masters in Agriculture and Economics, visited the UN in Bonn where they were the guests of The Secretariat  United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). They also met with UNESCO - UNEVOC and the United Nations Volunteers. 

A Panel Discussion was also held where students and panelists had the chance to discuss the importance of agriculture to the implementation of the UNCCD and Agenda 2030.

On Thursday the 11th of October 2018, the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Secretariat, represented by its Capacity Building Marketplace (CBM), hosted once again, students from Bonn University, taking the Masters in Agriculture and Food Economics (AFECO).
